PRIVATE LESSONS

At-home, Studio, and Online bookings

• All new clients must fill in the PARQ form before the first session

• Private lessons (at home, studio, and online) have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy

• Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full price of the session

• Sessions can be booked as a single, 5-pack, or 10-pack. All sessions must be prepaid before your session.

• Packs expire after 3 months from purchase date

• If the client cancels outside the cancellation window, they’ll receive the class credit back / won't be charged for the session

• If the instructor has to cancel the class, you will be notified as soon as possible, and the session will be rescheduled.

ONLINE GROUP CLASSES
• All classes must be booked in the name of the purchaser only

• Payments for classes and packages are non-refundable or transferable
• All group classes have a strict 12-hour cancellation policy
• If the client cancels outside the cancellation window they’ll receive the class credit back on their account
• No-shows will be charged as if attended
• Purchased classes last for a maximum of 3 months and then will expire

The safety of our users is of utmost importance to us. Please read the following safety disclaimer before using the Pilates With Ashlea App. By accessing and using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the terms stated herein:

 

Not Suitable for Pregnancy, Injuries, and Medical Conditions:
The exercises and activities demonstrated in the App are not suitable for individuals who are:

  • Pregnant (1st, 2nd or 3rd trimester)

  • Postnatal (0-12 weeks post birth) 

  • Currently injured

  • Have a medical condition and haven’t been cleared for exercises by their doctor


It is important to consult with a qualified healthcare professional before engaging in any exercise or fitness program, especially if you fall into one of these categories.
 

Professional Advice:

The information provided on the app is not intended to replace or substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any exercise or fitness program.

Safe Environment:
It is essential to ensure that you have a safe environment when using the App. Choose a well-lit and uncluttered area with adequate space to perform the exercises safely. Ensure that the flooring is suitable for exercise and free of any hazards or slippery surfaces. Make sure there are no sharp objects or obstacles that could cause injury within your exercise area. Always use a yoga/Pilates mat to support you.

 

Personal Responsibility:
Your safety is your responsibility. It is important to listen to your body and exercise within your own limits. If at any point during the exercises you experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, or any other adverse symptoms, you should immediately stop and seek appropriate medical attention. Do not force any movements or exercises that cause pain or discomfort.

 

Individual Fitness and Health:
The exercises and activities demonstrated in the App vary in intensity and difficulty. It is crucial to assess your own fitness level and choose exercises that are appropriate for your capabilities. All content can be filtered to best suit your needs. It is strongly suggested that you stick at the level that you are comfortable at.

 

Follow Instructions:
Follow all instructions, guidelines, and recommendations provided by the App and the instructor. Pay attention to proper form, technique, and breathing instructions to maximize the effectiveness of the exercises and minimize the risk of injury. If you are unsure about any aspect of an exercise, seek clarification before proceeding.

 

By participating in these workouts, you do so at your own risk. Pilates With Ashlea will not be held responsible or liable for any injury or loss you may suffer as a result of these workout videos. To the extent permitted at law, you release and hold the Instructor (and where applicable its, directors, employees and representatives) harmless from any liability, cost, expense, damages or claims (including claims of negligence) arising from or which may be suffered or incurred in connection with your participation in any classes on the app provided by Pilates With Ashlea.

 

By continuing to use the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this safety disclaimer in its entirety.

 

If you do not agree with any part of this disclaimer, please discontinue using the App. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this safety disclaimer or your use of the App, please contact us.

WAIVER:
Please read the following terms carefully. By participating in any class/session online and in-person provided by Pilates With Ashlea (the Instructor) you consent to and agree to release the Instructor from liability according to, these terms. Unless the Instructor notifies you otherwise, this waiver and release will apply to all classes undertaken by you with the Instructor. You acknowledge that:


• you are over 18 years of age;
• you understand that the classes are a form of physical activity and that there are inherent risks in undertaking any form of physical exercise;
• you have disclosed, or will disclose to the Instructor prior to the class commencing,
any pre-existing conditions that may place you at a higher risk of injury or inhibit your ability to participate in a class, this includes, but is not limited to:
o injuries, pain, or recent surgery;
o pregnancy or if you have recently given birth; or
o respiratory or heart conditions or high blood pressure.
• you will notify the Instructor if you experience any pain throughout the class and will immediately stop participating in the class if requested by the Instructor to do so;
• based on the information you provide, the Instructor may decide not to allow you to participate in a class, or may require you to provide a medical certificate affirming that you are able to participate in a class before allowing you to join, in the Instructor’s sole discretion;
• recommendations or instruction provided by the Instructor may not be tailored for your particular skill or ability level and it is your responsibility to assess whether you are able or want to participate in all or part of a class;
• you are solely responsible for ensuring that your physical environment is suitable for your participation in any class; and
• classes may be recorded for by the Instructor for quality control, as well as promotional purposes. If you do not consent to the Instructor using video or still images taken during the class for promotional purposes, please notify the Instructor in writing.

To the extent permitted at law, you release and hold the Instructor (and where applicable its, directors, employees and representatives) harmless from any liability, cost, expense, damages or claims (including claims of negligence) arising from or which may be suffered or incurred in connection with your participation in any classes provided by the Instructor.
